Welcome to our Website.
We are OKADE, the Oklahoma Association for Developmental Education. OKADE is the Oklahoma chapter of the National Association for Developmental Education (NADE). OKADE provides leadership, direction, resources, and camaraderie for developmental educators in the state of Oklahoma.
OKADE shares NADE's goal to "help learners at all levels of preparedness realize their full academic potential" and matriculate towards life-changing career pathways. Developmental education includes but is not limited to classroom instuction in developmental reading, writing, and math, tutoring, personal/career counseling, and academic advisement. OKADE provides professional development, publication opportunities, scholarships, and advice to developmental educators in the state of Oklahoma.
Please join our organization, ask a question, or volunteer to help us advance developmental education in our state. There are many opportunities to lead, participate, or just be a part of a like-minded community of educators. We hope to hear from you soon, and feel free to email me anytime for more information.
